Milk-to-meat planning call: Aug 16 – sep 8

With Labour Day a mere 2 weeks away, it’s time to start planning for the our SGs to jump back into a Milk-to-Meat module this Fall! Similar to last term, let’s start with a personalized 30-45 min ZOOM video conference call with each SGL couple/pair and myself. The goal would be to:
  • Briefly catch up on how you and your group are doing
  • Recap your previous Milk-to-Meat module and progress to the next stage of the discipleship lifecycle by planning out what curriculum to study for the Fall term (Labour Day to Christmas 2019)

The easiest way to find a time for us to chat would be to simply click this link and find a time that works best for you. Once you book in the time, we’re all set to have a ZOOM video call then!

 

2. All-in Night of Vision and Prayer – Sun, Sep 8th 

We are kicking off our Fall ministry year in on Sunday, Sep 8th with our All-IN Night of Vision and Prayer at St. James United Church. The evening will start with hotdogs in the park (adjacent to St. James) from 5:30 – 7 pm, followed by our All-IN vision night from 7-9 pm. 
Please be sure to mark Sun, Sep 8th in your calendar for our All-In Vision Night. As small group leaders, we only get 2-3 times a year where we can connect and be united together…ALL-IN Vision night is one of those times! So join us as we get united with one vision!

 

3. Stand Firm Conference – Oct 28-30, 2019 

This Fall, we have another top-notch regional conference, Stand Firm Conference, happening at Hope Bible Church Oakville from 7pm on Monday, Oct 28 to noon on Wednesday, Oct 30. We understand that this would require taking some time off from work, but if you can swing it, we would highly encourage you to go. The main sessions and workshops look chock full of great content.
